The moves that make you (3/6)

What becomes clear when you trust what's been calling you

~Friendly flag that there are only 2 spots left for Body of Work. Enrollment closes on Tuesday.

Hey there,

When I look back on the past few years, I see a pattern of change.

Closing a business.
Going back to tech.
Starting a newsletter.
Launching a coaching program.
Staying home with my kids.
Traveling through Europe during our sabbatical.
And, most recently, moving from New Mexico to Iowa.

Each chapter asked me to listen more closely to what was true for me, even when I couldn’t see the full picture yet.

The move to Iowa was one of the biggest.

We had a good life in New Mexico, and from the outside, it didn’t make sense to leave.

But we kept feeling a quiet pull—a sense of hope that this could be a place where our family would thrive.

When a great job opportunity came up for my husband, it felt like the right door opening at the right time.

Almost everyone we told reacted with shock. “WHY IOWA?!”

And yet, we’ve felt such calm about it.

Choosing this move felt like stepping toward alignment, not away from anything.

It’s given us space, community, and a new rhythm that feels deeply supportive of the life we want to build.

Through all of these changes, I’ve realized something important.

The things that have always lit me up—the ideas, the work, the ways I’ve felt called to grow or express myself—they’re not random or even disjointed.

They’ve been quietly weaving together to tell a story about who I am, what I’m capable of, and what I’m here to create.

That realization is what inspired Body of Work.

It’s for people who’ve lived many versions of themselves
and for those who have felt the desire to, but haven’t yet given themselves permission.

For the ones who sense that something inside them wants to grow or change,
but worry about what it might mean—how they’ll make sense of it, or how others will.

This program helps you recognize the through line that’s already been there all along.
Your creativity. Your values. Your way of seeing and shaping the world.

Once you can name it, you stop needing to hold yourself so tightly inside one version of success or identity. You can start moving with more trust, clarity, and freedom.

If that speaks to you, I have 2 spots left in this round.
Enrollment closes Tuesday, October 14.

And if something in you is stirring as you read this, I’d love to talk with you about it.
You can book a call with me here.

We’ll use the time to explore what’s calling you forward and see whether Body of Work feels like the right next step for you.

One more thing:

I’d love for you to join me and my friend Josee Smith this Friday for a live conversation:
Why Creativity Matters for Moms in Work & Life.

We’ll talk about how creativity shapes identity, fuels resilience, and helps us feel more alive in the midst of everything else that asks for our attention.

Because when we keep listening to what’s true,
we often find the path has been leading us somewhere more beautiful all along.

Thank you for reading! If you know someone who this could speak to, please pass it along.

Warmly,
Jennifer
